Project Summary: The project aims to implement territorial and environmental management tools by conducting surveillance, mapping, and monitoring of the territory, especially in areas with frequent invasions. It will also focus on the restoration of degraded areas, support sociocultural activities for indigenous women and youth, and strengthen traditional farming practices to ensure food security.

The project intends to carry out surveillance, mapping, and monitoring expeditions in the Alto Turiaçu Indigenous Land; support and promote sociocultural practices and activities of indigenous women related to Territorial and Environmental Management; restore degraded areas through forest restoration in regions most affected by illegal deforestation; strengthen the traditional Ka’apor production system and value the associated knowledge and practices to ensure food security; and conduct training activities related to all specific objectives of this proposal.
