In 2020, 37 finalists selected from a field of upwards of 450 proposals received a total of R$ 1.1 million in funding. This is the highest number since the first edition of FUNBIO Grants—Conserving the Future.

On the selection process for this third call, 250 Ph.Ds from all over the country, drawn from a range of specialties and fields, devoted their time and energy so that we could make our final cut.

In the coming weeks, the FUNBIO Grants team will be contacting the selected researchers via email for further details.
