Managing Institution: Casa do Cerrado Mixed Cooperative
The project aims to develop a methodology for providing support and guidance to foster and support a Network of Agroindustries in the Cerrado, in the state of Goiás.
Activities will include training and advisory services to equip the cooperative’s team and partners, and to formulate an accessible, cooperative, and replicable network service model.
The work aims to contribute to the structuring of 8 (eight) community-based enterprises in the Médio Araguaia Rural Territory by developing and delivering 2 (two) agroindustry projects – one for fruit pulps and a multifunctional kitchen, and another for Cerrado coconuts, nuts, and vegetable oils – along with 6 (six) additional targeted deliverables in response to specific demands.
The project will have a duration of 12 months, with training activities divided into two approaches: on-site advisory (“in the field”) and remote advisory (“network”) through a “Cycle of Meetings and Advisory on Agroindustries of the Cerrado.”
The stories, demands, and solutions found for the participating enterprises will be shared in an 8-episode podcast, as a strategy to strengthen initiatives with sociobiodiversity products.
